It was an afternoon of pride, connection, and celebration as the Brand Management Academy (BMA) hosted its graduation ceremony on *Sunday, May 4, 2025, in **Lagos, honoring the outstanding professionals who completed the *Advanced Brand Management Programme (ABMP) from the February–April cohort.
The event marked more than just the end of a rigorous three-month journey. It was a moment of reflection—on growth, grit, and the beginning of bold new chapters in the lives of over 50 graduates. These professionals came from diverse industries and locations, united by one goal: to become better, sharper brand leaders.
The ABMP is known for its intensity, weaving together cutting-edge strategy, digital marketing, consumer psychology, and leadership into a hands-on, transformative experience. For many, it wasn’t just a learning program—it was a turning point.

Dr. Abiodun Ajiborode, founder and CEO of BMA, spoke with evident pride:

“This cohort has shown exceptional dedication, creativity, and resilience. Their growth over the last three months is a true reflection of what the Academy stands for—immersive learning, mentorship, and real-world application. They’ve raised the bar.”
He also noted that this cohort made history as the first to have the highest number of participants start and complete the program within the stipulated timeline.

“I’m incredibly proud of them,” he added with a smile. “They’ve shown what’s possible when passion meets discipline.”
Among the industry leaders present was Yusuf Murtala, Senior Marketing Director at Coca-Cola, who shared words of encouragement with the new graduates:
“Don’t just take the tools you’ve learned and tuck them away—use them. And don’t underestimate the value of the relationships you’ve built here. They will matter more than you know.”
One of the highlights of the program was the capstone project, where participants teamed up to develop and present strategic brand campaigns—each evaluated by seasoned marketing professionals. The energy, originality, and real-world relevance of these projects demonstrated the depth of learning that took place.

The variety of voices in the room—from fintech to FMCG, health care to creative agencies—added rich layers to the experience. It wasn’t just about theories and frameworks, but about learning through real collaboration and cross-industry perspectives.
With certificates in hand and heads held high, the graduates now join BMA’s growing alumni network—a vibrant, supportive community of brand professionals shaping markets across Africa and beyond.
Out of *over 60 enrolled professionals, *50 completed the full journey and earned their ABMP certification—an achievement that’s as much about endurance as it is about excellence.
As the curtains closed on the ceremony, one thing was clear: this wasn’t the end, but the beginning. A new wave of brand leaders has stepped forward, ready to make their mark.
